What's In The News This Week!

Kia Orana bloggers,

Today in class our reading task was to find some news from this week. It had to be news from 23th to 30th October. Today I read this article. The name of the article was First Kiwi Build houses opened with street party.

Interesting fact: Last week the prime minister welcomed 18 families to their kiwi build homes in  Auckland's Papakura suburb. One of the owners from the new home compared their purchase to winning the Lotto (WOW) :o.

The news was: Kinda boring

1 new word I learned was: The word that I learned was Mortgage. The definition of Mortgage is a legal agreement by which a back, building society. Lending money at interest in exchange for taking title of the debtors property.

Worth reading? This news was pretty boring because that they were talking about the houses.

Well that's pretty much it. Sorry if my blog was pretty boring because we had to do this. But that is alright because I get to do fun things as well.

Thank you for coming!
Here's the photo by the way:

  1. Hai,
Its me Kanishka! For me right now it looks likes you made and article for an article, so basically I'm saying GOOD JOB! I agree when I saw this article and read it, I decided not to post it. I think you should put a link for other bloggers that haven't read the article and don't know where to find it.

    Kind Regards
    Kanishka

  2. Talofa Lava Ina,
Thanks for sharing 'what's in the news' this week. I was interested to read that kiwi build houses have been built in Papakura. We are going to have some built in Whangarei where I live too. It is a good way for people to get into their first home and have a mortgage. Do you think one day you would like to buy your own house and have a mortgage? I would find it boring if I was your age to but it is good that you are having a wide range of learning and reading. I agree with Kanishka, a link to the article would be a good idea. Thanks for sharing.
